The Youth Enabler Program by Empower Foundation addresses this critical need by providing essential technical skills training to students in underserved areas, empowering them with the tools for financial independence and paving the way for a brighter future.
Education for All
Individuals from underprivileged communities often encounter barriers in accessing quality education due to financial constraints or the absence of qualified teachers. Women face additional challenges due to cultural restrictions surrounding travel and domestic responsibilities. The Youth Enabler Program helps overcome these barriers by providing free and accessible education for all.
In collaboration with various non-profit organizations and schools, the program provides free courses and workshops on crucial tech domains such as Web Development. Utilizing video-based lectures and standard online assessments, students engage with the curriculum at their own pace. To ensure accessibility, the courses are primarily delivered in the students’ native languages, facilitating better comprehension and reach. Our team of industry professionals also conducts on-site visits to address student queries and provide personalized guidance. By learning from practitioners actively engaged in the field, students gain insights that go beyond theoretical knowledge, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities of the professional world.
Our Impact So Far
Since inception, the Youth Enabler Program has made significant strides. We have forged partnerships with various esteemed organizations to successfully implement this program. Our Web Development course with Ilm-Un-Nisa witnessed the graduation of eight talented young women, equipping them with important technical skills.
Similarly, we collaborated with Roshni Model High School to launch a Web Development course tailored for high school students. After sponsoring a new computer lab at the school, the program enabled students to learn practical skills and create a solid technical foundation early-on.
Our Next Steps
Looking ahead, our goal is to sustain and expand partnerships with organizations like Roshni Model High School, Ilm-un-Nisa Institute, Zaytun, and more. We’re actively developing new classes and nurturing ongoing collaborations to further our mission of empowering youth through education.
