Volunteering at Elderly Care Facilities
To bring care, companionship, and support to the elderly people in our community, Empower Foundation organized visits to Bint-e-Fatima Foundation Old Age Homes in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
Bint-e-Fatima Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing care to elderly women in need. This includes providing shelter, clothes, food, medical care and other necessities. Our team visited the Foundation to extend our support, spend time with the residents and deepen our understanding of how we can further assist them.
Connecting with Resilient Spirits
Bint-e-Fatima Foundation houses a remarkable set of women who made significant contributions to society as teachers, doctors, mothers, and more. However, with time, they found themselves without family support or resources.
In our mission to alleviate some of their burdens, our team embarked on a heartfelt visit to foster connections and build bonds. We had meaningful conversations, listened to their life stories, and shared light moments with them. To add to the joy, we organized various games and activities for everyone to enjoy together.

Supporting Ongoing Operations
Old–age homes frequently encounter obstacles in sustaining their facilities and services, including rising operational costs. Empower Foundation also made donation to support the ongoing operations of Bint-e-Fatima Foundation. This included gathering kitchen and household essentials as well as monetary donations, to ensure that the institute continues to provide the best care to its residents.
Empower Foundation’s visit to Bint-e-Fatima Foundation was a day of heartfelt connection and compassion that reaffirmed our commitment to community support. It served as a reminder that while we empower future generations through education, we must also honor and care for those who have shaped our past. Together, we aspire to create a society where every generation thrives, and no one is left behind.
