Creativity allows children to express emotions, explore imagination, and build confidence in ways words often cannot. Through art, young minds discover a sense of freedom and joy that plays an important role in their emotional and social development.
Building on similar creative initiatives from previous years, Empower Foundation continues to use art as a medium to encourage self-expression and emotional growth among children.
The Arts & Crafts activity was held at Lemmens Home in Karachi and at Empower Foundation’s Zaytun facilities in Lahore and Islamabad, creating welcoming spaces where children could explore creativity through guided and hands-on activities.
Children took part in a variety of activities including coloring, painting, drawing, and interactive games. These activities encouraged self-expression and allowed the children to experiment with colors and ideas in a supportive and engaging environment. The space quickly filled with laughter, excitement, and proud displays of artwork.
Supported by over 50+ volunteers across cities, the activity reflected a collective effort driven by care and community and engaged around 100 kids. Volunteers guided the children through creative exercises, celebrated their work, and helped foster an atmosphere of encouragement and positivity.
