Empower Foundation’s Impactful Ration Drives

Empower Foundation’s Impactful Ration Drives

In March 2023, Empower Foundation organized Ration Drives across Pakistan to support families grappling with economic hardships. Our team collaborated with Idara Al-Khair and Ittehad Medical Centre and Trust in Karachi, Roshni Model High School in Lahore, and Pehli Kiran School in Islamabad to conduct the drives. These strategic partnerships ensured that we reached the most deserving families in need of rations.

Impactful Distribution

The ration drives were organized in the month of Ramadan, when families require nutritious food to comfortably observe fasting. Our ration drive ensured that families had access to essential items to break their fasts and sustain themselves during the fasting hours.

Over 500 ration bags were distributed, benefiting more than 2,600 people. The bags included food staples such as flour, rice, sugar, pulses, and more, alongside basic necessities, providing comprehensive support to families in need.

Getting rations in Ramadan means everything to us. I can rest easy, knowing my children won’t go to sleep hungry, and I don’t have to worry about where our next meal will come from. This support brings a great sense of relief, and for that, I am truly grateful.”  –  Saad, Recipient.

Ongoing Efforts

In April 2022, Empower Foundation collaborated with Idara Al-Khair, Roshni Model High School and Saya School, distributing over 500 ration bags. Our past initiative include aiding flood victims, providing warm clothing and clean water to communities in need, Covid-19 pandemic relief, and more. These efforts have resulted in tangible improvements within the communities we serve.
