Inspiring Futures: Empowering Children Through Art
In 2024, Empower Foundation organized a series of vibrant activities aimed at inspiring young minds and encouraging self-expression. Through collaborations with the Providence Shelter Home for Girls in Karachi and Roshni Model High School (Zaytun 3) in Lahore, we beautifully combined art activities with uplifting talks to create an empowering space for children and young women, fostering a space for them to dream big and express themselves freely.
Encouraging Dreams at Providence Shelter Home for Girls
During our visit to Providence Shelter Home for Girls in Karachi, our team hosted a special session titled “Turning Aspirations into Achievements.” This engaging workshop aimed to inspire young girls to chase their dreams and take proactive steps toward turning them into reality. Following the motivational discussion, we held a canvas painting session, allowing the girls to express their aspirations through art. They were encouraged to depict their visions for the future, using creativity as a medium for self-reflection and positive affirmation.
“The painting session allowed me to express my dreams in a new way. It was more than just colors on a canvas—it was about visualizing my future and believing in it,” shared one enthusiastic participant.
The Providence Shelter Home for Girls provides free education, guidance, and housing to young girls in need. Empower Foundation is proud to partner with this organization, empowering these remarkable young women to realize their potential and dream fearlessly.
Inspiring Creativity at Roshni Model High School (Zaytun 3)
In Lahore, the Empower Foundation team brought joy and creativity to the students at Roshni Model High School, Zaytun 3. Our fun-filled day was specially designed for students in grades 3 and 4, engaging them in a variety of artistic activities, including coloring, poster painting, and card-making. Each activity aimed to tap into the children’s creativity and encourage self-expression.
The children explored problem-solving through puzzles, expressed gratitude and empathy by making cards for loved ones, and freely shared their ideas and emotions through art. This was a wonderful way for them to reconnect with school life after a long summer break.

Zaytun 3 is part of Empower Foundation’s ongoing mission to support underprivileged children. The foundation provides free meals to students, financial assistance to the school, and regular mentorship through career counseling and technical training sessions. Empower Foundation’s Zaytun chapters in both Karachi and Lahore focus on addressing hunger and promoting vocational training and education in underserved communities.
