As part of our commitment to uplift the underprivileged, our Empower Foundation team recently visited FundaVida – a Costa Rica-based nonprofit organization. The purpose of the visit was to support FundaVida in their mission to empower youth from vulnerable and troubled communities through education, counselling and financial aid.
Mr. J. Lupton Simpson was an educator in Loudoun County for 39 years. He was instrumental in propagating the middle school concept in this area, which needed to cater to its growing student population. This concept was finally realized in the 1971-1972 academic year, four years after Mr. Simpson’s passing. The present building was finally completed in 1976, and was named and dedicated J. Lupton Simpson Middle School, a fitting and appropriate memorial to a man whose life was education. In all the different schools he taught and administered at, the entire student body and broader community demonstrated their great admiration and and very high respect for Mr. Simpson.

Empower Foundation is proud to conduct multiple Blood Donation Drives across Pakistan, in its mission to positively impact and save lives. Held in February and September 2023, in collaboration with esteemed organizations such as Indus Hospital & Health Network (Karachi), Sundas Foundation (Lahore and Islamabad), and Pakistan Red Crescent (Islamabad), these drives offered our teammates the opportunity to donate blood and contribute to a significant cause.
To make meaningful impact in the lives of the less fortunate, Empower Foundation conducted a clothing drive from 19th July to 28th August in 10Pearls’ offices in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. The drive aimed to assist underprivileged families by providing essential clothing, addressing their basic needs and improving their overall well-being.
To bring care, companionship, and support to the elderly people in our community, Empower Foundation organized visits to Bint-e-Fatima Foundation Old Age Homes in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
As part of our unwavering mission to improve educational opportunities for underprivileged students, Empower Foundation recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art computer lab at Roshni Model High School (Zaytun 3) in Lahore. This initiative reflects Empower Foundation’s commitment to bridge the digital divide and empower girls in higher-secondary school with valuable digital skills.
In line with our efforts to uplift and empower groups with limited opportunities, our team at Empower Foundation held interactive career counseling sessions for underprivileged youth in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. Our initiative helped guide over 100 students to find their passion and choose the right career path.
Donating blood is not only a civic responsibility but also a highly gratifying and humbling experience. In line with our commitment to give back to society, Empower Foundation conducted a Blood Donation Drive from February 23rd to 25th, 2022. This Drive was held in collaboration with Indus Hospital in our Karachi office, with Sundas Foundation in Lahore office, and Jamila Sultana Foundation in Islamabad. This is the fifth time a Blood Donation Drive has been held at 10Pearls.
One of our core missions at Empower Foundation is to uplift, educate and train women so they can achieve financial independence and become more empowered. Committed to this vision, our team recently joined hands with Ilm-un-Nisa – a vocational training institute for women in Karachi – to conduct a course on Web Development under the Empower Foundation Youth Enabler Program.
